Overall our stay was nice. Hotel is located a bit far from main centers, so you have to get a car.
Facility was better than my expectation. Salvatore was very friendly and helpful.

Only thing: It would be nice to have some protein rich nutritions in breakfast, at least as eggs would be good.

Superhost! I would definitely recommend this place because their service and environment. Host sent all the local businesses nearby. It’s the next suburb from Sorrento and a picturesque town to immerse yourself in for authentic Italian experience. A bus right near the hotel to catch into town approx 15 mins. Kitchen to cook your own meal, relaxing garden. Cool Italian design!

We loved our stay! The place is quiet, has a lot of outdoors space to chill, the breakfast is delicious. Our host was super helpful and gave us great recommendations of things to do and where to park. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk to restaurants without having to climb any steps after a long day on the costiera amalfitana. Everything was perfect.

Very nice room, and good breakfast.
The people there are very receptive and polite, and gave us precious tips.
The location is not so close to the shore, but if you have a car is no problem, also you can get a bus in the surrounding areas.

Owner was extremely responsive and helpful with arranging transportation and excursions. They even made us dinner the night we arrived. It is not the most convenient location with limited taxis or Uber drivers, so he arranged a rental car for us which I recommend if you’re wanting to explore.

Very good service and location in Sorrento. We actually stayed there during a storm and water shortage in the area but our host Salvatore went out of his way to get us enough drinkable and usable water until the local water supply was fixed.
Very friendly and caring.

Stayed there for 4 nights and loved it! It's a very nice place! The owner, Luciana, is very nice and friendly, helped us with everything we needed and picked us up at the bus stop. The apartment was amazing, very cosy and clean and had a good breakfast and the sorroundings are very calm and peaceful. It´s a bit far from Sorrento and during the summer the buses run every hour, it´s better to get the bus schedule to plan it well. There's one good supermarket in Montichio, but there's no atm machine. It was a great experience staying in Relais il Frantoio.

I recently stayed for five days with a friend of mine while we travelled Italy. Our favourite hotel in the month we traveled was staying here. Our host Salvatore was fantastic in every way. All we had to do was let him know what we wanted. He was an excellent chef, and satisfied our every wish where excellent meals were concerned. He went out of his way to make our stay memorable, even driving us down to the Tyrrhenian Sea for the day! He also drove us to the Naples bus station just to make sure we were safe getting home!The hotel is a great place for different spaces to meet with people or relax in your own private outdoor areas. Covered patios, open spaces, ample lawn furniture, beautiful dining area, with the feel of the country all around. I would definitely recommend staying here and wish I could go back for a month!
