Liked: The first thing we liked was that when we arrived at the car park, the hotel assistant Habib (I hope I remember his name correctly) was already waiting for us, who carried all our luggage to the hotel! Without his help, it would have taken us a lot of time, since the parking lot is quite a bit higher and you need to use two elevators to get to the hotel. So the biggest thanks to him!
And then of course the views! This accommodation is located right on the shore of the lake. from where there are great views. Like in the movie!
All rooms are double rooms with a balcony on the second floor.
A small port, where you can take ships to neighboring towns, is a few hundred meters away.
The staff was very friendly!

Did not like so much: Let's say that the rooms could be updated a little. Not that it really stands out, but it's a place that could be improved.
It is possible that for some it is also a problem that the street, through which you can go to the city or some restaurants, is quite a lot higher, where you need to go with two elevators and a little stairs.
There could perhaps be a small bar on site, or at least the possibility to buy some drinks and snacks at the reception. It must be taken into account that you have to get your own food and drink and take it with you. But luckily there is a kitchen with good equipment where you can cook your own food. It is true that there are also various places to eat not too far away.

La Luna Como is stunning. Our room had a very beautiful view over the lake but it’s the outside area that is so lovely and really surprised us.

Enough (very comfy) tanning beds for everyone and you get a dock into the lake which makes it easy to swim. They provide canoes and a sub that you can use. & also have really nice terrace with a barbecue that everyone can use. We absolutely loved our stay here! The elevators are also a big plus so you won’t have to walk all the way up and down + private (free) parking!

The manager was very kind and gave us so many great tips and recommendations for the area. We will definitely be back!

The worst hotel on the lake. Previous owners Eric and Robin had a wonderful little place. Now it’s dirty and a real dump. It’s a real shame! The new owner ruined this lovely place.

Words can’t describe the condition of the room. From the musty smell, to the narrow spiral staircase to access upstairs room. There was no bath soap and when I asked was given a Garnier shampoo as that’s all they had. I requested an additional blanket from the attendant Debora and she said they didn’t have additional blankets. Debora lacks customer service skills, very rude and lack of accountability. The first night we were locked out of the villa upon our return from a welcoming party as the key to enter the reception was the wrong one. This was at 1:45 am and were finally able to get in because another guest showed up and opened the door. When Debora tried the key the next day had to acknowledge it was the wrong key but no apologies. There were no instructions on how to get into the Villa after gates were locked at Villa Lario, the next door property were some of the guests were staying. Don’t stay at this place.

I typically don't write reviews but this was a must! Had the most incredible weekend with 13 of my girlfriends. We booked extremely last minute and La Luna Como could not be more accommodating. We walked into the B&B and were all in awe of it's beauty. A total hidden gem in the small town of Pognana which is a wonderful location on Lake Como! It is also right on the water so you can swim right off the dock. Super cute lounge chairs which we relaxed on everyday. Deborah could not have been more helpful with giving us recommendations and being so accommodating! We will never forget this weekend. Thank you so much La Luna Como for memories that will last a lifetime!

This location does not deserve such a low rating on google. It seems to me a wonderful place, where you can freely enjoy the great landscape, connect with nature. The courtyard is divine, the surroundings as well. Maybe the room is not what some expected, but it is a place you enter only at night, to sleep. We hope to have the opportunity to return! The host is a 10. Thank you for everything!

Trés décevant compte tenu du prix des chambres (300 euros /jour).Seule la vue sur le lac est intéressante. Structure qui a besoin d'être modernisée et qui pratique des prix bien trop élevés pour les prestations fournies. Nous avons regretté le budget investi dans cet hôtel. Passez votre chemin et évitez cet hôtel qui est une véritable arnaque. Seules les 2 personnes de l'accueil sont sympathiques, le reste n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur.

La Luna Como is a beautiful location, stunning outdoor areas ( lounges, sunbeds), and direct access to the lake via a pier for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding etc.

Deborah and her team are extremely helpful and accommodating.

This gem of a hotel is becoming something very special, definitely worth the visit.
