Unfortunately, this hotel was only booked as an overnight stay before a flight home from Naples airport. Yet, we were warmly welcomed and treated with great courtesy. All travellers were given assistance to their rooms with special care for those less able. Whether support in getting cases from the coach or with understanding the SIM card door key. Thank you Davide. He alone will bring me back. |Lovely rooms & facilities. We had a great sleep. Lovely breakfast dining room and continental fare with a great range.

Stayed for one night. Decent location being central to trains and Napoli stadium. Gated parking. Big disappointment was there was no air conditioning. Picture is of the thermostat in the room. Even with the window open which we were told to do to compensate for the air conditioning being shut off for the hotel, my room did not drop below this temp, nor for the other 2 rooms being occupied by my group. If the air conditioning were on, my review would be different, but little difficult sleeping in warm conditions like these.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve traveled extensively across numerous countries, staying in everything from Airbnbs to hostels to luxury hotels. With that said, this so-called four-star establishment barely meets the standard of a poorly maintained two-star hotel in a developing country.

For the sake of brevity, I’ll outline my grievances clearly:
1. The air conditioning in my room did not work.
2. The control panel in my room was physically damaged and completely non-functional.
3. The air conditioning across the entire complex is intentionally shut off during evening hours.
4. The hotel reeks of hydrogen sulfide—a suffocating, sulfuric odor that permeates the halls.
5. Opening the windows only intensifies this stench.
6. My friend’s room had bed bugs.
7. My own room contained multiple insect species (thankfully, no bed bugs found).
8. Despite repeated complaints to the concierge, I was told my air conditioning was “working”—only to later learn that management disables it at night, and that I should “open the window” to vent the heat… directly into hydrogen sulfide fumes.
9. The possibility of rodents crawling through my open window was a viable concern.
In summary, this “four-star” property operates closer to a hostel with plumbing issues and pest infestations than a reputable hotel. The management’s indifference and lack of transparency are unacceptable.

Positive notes:

1. WiFi worked
2. Close proximity to Napoli's soccer arena

Worst hotel experience of my life, from someone who has travelled to 23 countries. Before even getting there we took a taxi from Napoli Centrale and got scammed. Taxi meter showed €16 by the time we reached the hotel and he demanded €70. Since the building we’ve just arrived to looks like a post apocalyptic prison we feared for our lives and just paid the €70. His excuse was that this hotel was so far away from Naples that this is the standard pricing, and that he had even given us a discount of €10.. We check in and reach our room and it legit looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since whoever stayed there last. The building felt eerie and I legit felt like something horrible was gonna happen. We spent a total of 10 minutes in the room and went right back downstairs to leave. Tried to get a refund because of the dirty room but they were unable to.. If you are so unlucky to have already made a booking at this hotel, whatever you do please take the train there. It’s a sweaty walk with stairs and uneven pavement but it’ll be the only way to ensure you don’t get scammed. Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation

This is one of the better hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s pretty luxurious but this is not reflected on the price. The staff are very friendly and genuine. The room was like a medium size apartment, with very nice and comfortable furniture and modern bath/toilet facilities. As a building, it’s like a palace. Very tall ceilings, spacious facilities and literally steps away from the landmark Diego Maradona stadium. The staff are fantastic, professional and friendly. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean. If you don’t mind the grandiose 1940’s architecture, then the hotel is fine. Nothing exceptional but nice and spacious. Rooms have high ceilings and electric shutters as well as AC.

The breakfast buffet was pretty basic and somewhat disappointing- mostly pastries and cold continental with 2 semi warm options.

The location is manageable - a bit out of the city, about 20 minutes on the metro train.

The staff here are friendly.

Oh man did we get catfished-
We'll start with the worst- the shower doors don't seal, so unless you aim the shower head at the wall (effectively not really showering), you flood not just the bathroom but the rest of the room. Not great for long hair.

The rooms don't get any cooler than 82 degrees Fahrenheit- we called the front desk because it was SO hot in the room and they couldn't do anything.

This is so far from what I'd expect for a 4 star hotel. The floors are dirty, the lock handle kept falling off of our door, and the front desk told us there's a fixed price taxi to the port area for 17 euro, however when we got out of the taxi he demanded that it was the meter cost. When we got back to the hotel, a different front desk person said the only fixed cost was the airport.

It might be feeling worse because it's the first night of our honeymoon, but we absolutely would never stay here again and do not recommend this experience.

the hotel is located next to diego maradona stadium, the room is big, the bathroom shower bracket is broken, so we have to hold the shower when taking a shower, the room is not very clean. the breakfast at this hotel lacks variety and the taste is ordinary for a 4 star hotel. the hotel is bright and the design is a bit old.
