This is NOT for you if you are elderly / disabled / do not get around well. The walk from the station is entirely uphill followed by steep stairs when you get there. We were absolutely soaked with sweat when we arrived and the hostess didn’t exactly have a warm welcome. Very blunt and to the point as we are standing there out of breath. Honestly, I believe a car should be arranged for every guest upon arrival. Plus, they give you written directions to get to the hotel as their address does not work. Not exactly what I want to be doing while hauling 60 pounds of luggage.

Clean room, amazing view if you book the apartment (which we did not realize we booked). Great shower. Spacious. The WiFi wasn’t great. If it rains, no one will be at the front desk. Most of the town shuts down if it rains just FYI. Walk is just about 15 minutes from the train station.

Our experience here has been wonderful. We were in room 2 and had a large balcony with a great view down the valley towards the city and water. Room was renovated and very nice. The only downside is getting here from the train. It is a long uphill hike through town followed by 80 stairs to the room. Going downtown and back requires some effort. People with mobility issues should consider a taxi or a porter service for their luggage.

Absolutely loved staying here. Our room was really lovely and we had a garden patio which was big. Hotel was in a good location up the hill so it was quiet. Elena our host was always on hand for us and was exceptional giving us some places to visit and organising our sunset cruise. |Gaia who did the breakfast was fabulous as our friends had breakfast. Everything about this hotel was great from the responsiveness of their reception to the rooms themselves. The room was large, clean, comfortable with the best air conditioning which was much needed. They were able to provide us with recommendations for taxis, luggage deposits and more and were very responsive. We had a late check in and they sent detailed instructions, pictures and videos which were perfect. Amazing hotel we would recommend to anyone visiting Cinque Terre!

Very nicely updated rooms. Very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their recommendations were very helpful.|Difficult to reach. Lots of hills and stairs. There is a local service that can transport your luggage to and from the station.

Room had ants, earwigs, flies, mosquitoes, and water never got hot. I booked through the website and was charged nearly double what my mother paid for the same room booking through Expedia. Lovely view and quiet.

A lovely, safe and quiet place to stay with private suites each with their own courtyard, almost like little cabins. The hostess was incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. Very conveniently located if you are willing to walk a couple of minutes, including up and down a steep set of stairs that gives access to the property.

We were glad the we stayed in Riomaggiore as our home base to explore the Cinque Terre and our room at Hotel Locanda Ca Da Iride was perfect - clean & comfortable with a terrace overlooking the town & sea. The room has a small refrigerator and we bought a few groceries in town for breakfast. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning before exploring the area. Lovely & worth the hike up!
