Comfortable hotel 5 minutes from the slopes, so well located within the village. Staff were friendly. Hotel was a little tired, although clean and warm. The big disappointment was the food - breakfast was OK but the evening meals were not what we expected from a 4 star hotel in Italy. Food was often cold and bland, hardly any vegetables so not the most nutritious after a day on the slopes. The food definitely let the hotel down and I would not regard it as value for money.

I was a member of a large group of 20 plus and found the hotel to provide all you would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The lacation was a 5 min walk from the ski lifts so all good so far? Well yes but then we get onto the food. Breakfast was ok, a little uninspiring but ok although the bread was stale. There real problem was the evening meals, the food was often not warm and the quality was poor. I think our group was too big for them to handle. Our coordinator provided feedback via Inghams and things were improved a little towards the end of the week. Given that this is a 4 star hotel I didn't have any meals that I really enjoyed.

This is a very comfortable hotel close to the slopes with a well equipped boot room. If you’re an avid all day skier this is a good choice. ||The food is very average and most of the time cold. The variety of salad choice is good and the wine too was good. Breakfast is extremely basic with many choices of sweet tarts etc but generally only boiled eggs if you want something hot. Scrambled egg and bacon and or sausage is available but often cold. ||The rooms are comfortable but basic and warm with plenty of hot water and en suite with shower. ||The gym is good with a variety of weights and cardio machines. There is a sauna, steam room and virtual jacuzzi (it has no water and remained empty for the duration of our stay). The gym / spa is only open from 1600hrs however I did ask for the key on occasion and was given it to use the gym - the sauna etc remained turned off outwith opening time. ||The main seating area and bar are spacious however the lovely central fireplace remained unlit for the duration of our stay. I did ask if the fire could be lit and was told it couldn’t. It meant the area lacked a bit of atmosphere and wasn’t particularly inviting. ||To sum up a great location for town and slopes and if you’re skiing all day everyday and eating out it’s perfect. If you’re planning to spend some time in the hotel and eat here I’d avoid and look elsewhere.

Better than a review we saw before we came. Good standard food (it was not cold grub like one review said). Good central location.water was not drinkable whe due to repairs. We had to go to a good supermarket nearby, sell s water , but they ran out on one day but it has a good range of other produce.
Downside is running out of natural yoghurt on day 3 (in hotels control), and still no drinking water from taps, waiting for external tests to say water is ok to drink (not in hotel or ski compsmies reps control).

Charmless rooms and atmosphere but clean and tidy. Very slow internet. However, the reason I rate the hotel as 3 and not 2 is because of the staff. They are extremely friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their lips. Breakfast OK but not very impressive.

Food is better than previous reviews. It is warm and plentiful with good helpful staff. The down side is the "music" from the apres bars nearby which largely sound like a washing machine having a mental breakdown. It's that bad I would not come here again. At least it ends fairly early. But it is seriously crap and intrusive.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a lovely stay there. It had all the facilities that are needed and was good value for money. The room was perfectly adequate. A comfortable double bed with 2 separate mattresses, nice and warm, plenty of hanging space. the bathroom was a reasonable size (could do with a shower curtain). Breakfast was generous with a good choice, including a choice of cereals, yogurt, cheese, ham, jams, toast etc, scrambled eggs (and you could boil your own eggs!), juice, tea,coffee. Dinner was excellent with a delicious unlimited salad buffet every evening and 4 other courses with a choice for each. They will also address any dietary requirements. I am vegetarian and was always asked what I would like. Christina was a very attentive waitress and all the staff were friendly and efficient.. The lounge/bar was very spacious and we played cards there most nights. There is a spa with sauna, and steam room (jacuzzi wasn't working). The location is excellent and the lifts are easy to get to. There is a good boot room and our boots were nicely heated! All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely like to return. We believe the hotel is under new management and were very impressed with the way the hotel is run.

Given it a good rating for what it is. A very conveniently located 3 star or so hotel in Cervinia. Best things are location and friendly staff. Rooms are fine, food is OK. It's not an apre ski party centre, which is a plus for me. Lounge area is big if set in the 70's and it can be tricky to get a drink sometimes as the staff all multitask but it's not a big problem.
