While the location is central in this town with nothing to do, the hotel is dated. The photos look nice- the rooms are not. Rooms are clean but very small and uncomfortable. The bedspread saw better days. We reserved two nights and asked to cancel one after arriving but were refused! We did not stay for breakfast so cannot review that. In brief- this is at best a two star hotel in a one star town.

Had an amazing stay here. Breakfast was included with the room price and overall really enjoyable. The front desk staff, specifically the younger gentleman with dark curly hair (I regretfully cannot remember his name), was absolutely incredible. He went far beyond what I’d ever expect and did everything imaginable to ensure we had a great stay. This hotel is lucky to have him. There are a lot of neat shops and restaurants to explore nearby, and some awesome trails with stunning views. Highly recommend the trails which are detailed in the paper printouts at the front desk. My only warning is to bring plenty of bug spray (for warmer months) and be very careful as parts of the trails take you on the slimmest shoulder of busy roads. Finding transportation was tricky as Ubers don’t typically venture out that far from Florence, but there are a few private drivers who can be found online - just book in advance. Otherwise the bus can be reliable depending on where you want to go. As far as storing luggage, the front desk was happy to hold our items behind their counter for over 4 hours after our checkout time as we did some last minute sightseeing. Overall 5 out of 5 stars, would definitely book here again.

The Photos in the Internet are misleading- the room was clean but not at the level presented! Location is good and Matteo was Pleasant but did not help! When we asked to cancel one night (we reserved two nights) we were refused! This hotel is more a 2 star then 3.

What an amazing stay. We had a wonderful friendly welcome. Dinner was the best we had in all of our travels. The Chianti wine festival was very close and the perfect location to stay. I highly recommend this charming hotel

Old and tired. No need to stay night in Greve. Had a fantastic 17 day trip to Italy. This hotel and town was the worst. Toilet didn’t flush, luggage had to be on floor - only room for one, shower was unusable and small, walls paper thin, barking dogs are fun all night, blood on sheets, hotel didn’t respond to email asking about parking ultimately leading to our car being towed. Full day ruined to walk to Police station- no taxi in Greve. Pathetic response from owner self justifying and blaming us. Pitty his staff as they do everything and I know he would be abusive. They all need to quit.

Great little hotel, a really authentic Italian experience set in the middle of a gorgeous village. Comfy beds, great shower lovely breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. No parking but you can park in any of the public car parks really cheap and is free from 8.00pm until 9.00 am. 50 cents an hour. Lots of restaurants and cafes serving great food and Chianti ! Bellisimo!

Beautiful little hotel with very friendly staff. We had a lovely large room with big bathroom and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay here again

Loved staying here in the square of Greve. Perfect location for a few days. A lovely selection of restaurants on your doorstep, and several great walks, plus close enough to visit several vineyards in the Tuscan hills. The rooms themselves are fairly basic but clean and you can hear quite a bit of noise in the hotel, not from the outside but from the inside, however that didn’t ruin our stay. We really loved this little corner of the world and would definitely return.
