Ottimo campeggio, personale gentilissimo. Eravamo di passaggio in bicicletta ed avendo un posto camper libero e all'ombra ci hanno spostati dal "primitive tent site".
Una stella in più se avessero avuto dei ganci nelle docce.

We arrived by boat, needing two new house batteries. Called the office for a slip, luckily they had kne available. They can only slip up small boats under 30ft near the boat ramp, which was fine for us. No shore power but that wasn't an issue. They only charged us $1.50/ft which is a price unheard of in the Keys. Before I even had my lines set, there were 3 or 4 park residents walking to the dock to offer any assistance. The People and staff here are first rate super chill. The residents have a daily gathering to watch the sunset and blow a conch horn to pay homage to the day. They6 invited us and we had a fantastic evening of music, dance, and met wonderful new people. We had such a great time we decided to stay a second night tied up to their dock. Highly recommended.

Ruth works in the front office! She was friendly and made sure we were happy with our site. The park is smaller than some but clean , nice beach area, quiet, and great location!

I came from Miami for the weekend and stayed at the conch house at Kings Kamp for a night and it wildly surpassed my expectations. The little house was so beautiful inside and had the craziest view of the bay. My boat was right next to the house, we had a grill, and my party of 5 literally had the best time. I want to do it every weekend now. The staff was also fantastic. Thank you Ruth for helping me get my bearings and being so accommodating and responsive. We had the best time

We stayed in the “library” sleeping room. What a great stay! Did it have a bathroom? No. Did it matter? Not at all. The restrooms are right behind the room. They are clean and spacious.

The staff was amazing and supper helpful in getting us in last minute! We will definitely be back! 10/10

Short version: we had an amazing and positive experience at Kings Kamp this past Memorial Day weekend. Ruth’s level of customer service is at another level. We stayed at one of the apartments and it was great! We also spoke to Margaret a couple of times when trying to process payment and she was very nice as well.

Longer version: Wife and I were originally looking for a boat ramp we could use during Memorial Day weekend thinking that the keys and public ramps were going to be absolutely nuts. I made a post on Facebook with the question and Ruth was very nice to private message me and let me know that she works at Kings Kamp and that they had a ramp I could use for a fee (I was not aware this ramp existed). I looked at the site and realized the Kamp also has rooms and that it is not just for RV’s. Started looking and, to my surprise, it looked like they had availability. I then contacted Ruth and she confirmed the room was open and that I could take the boat with me!

We ended up getting there late on Friday and she had left the keys and instructions to park the boat in their mailbox. Proceeded to park the boat and then go to the room. The room was very ample, remodeled and smelled clean! Wife, kids, and I really liked the room and accommodations of the Kamp in general. The view from our room was amazing as well. The boat ramp was easy to launch and retrieve and folks staying in their RVs were very respectful to turn down the music at quiet time. Almost forgot to mention that there is a food truck in premise and that the coffee in the mornings was perfect. Did not get a chance to try the food though.

Already wanting to head down there again! I know we will be visiting often.
